Gators and biscuits: An alligator was spotted at a Hardees parking lot a few weeks ago in Charleston, S.C. He was captured and relocated. Maybe he was there to grab a cup of coffee and a ham biscuit special. In the South, having breakfast at Hardees is a big deal.

Tea takeover:
Gov. Terry McAuliffe says that the Tea Party
has taken over the General Assembly, passing a budget that does not allow Medicaid expansion that would have benefited more than 400,000 Virginians.

Tea Party clobbered:
S.C. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R) won the primary election last week, beating six Tea Party candidates and using President Obama as a punching bag. Overall results? More of the same.
