It has been a tough summer for Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell. First, he lost his bid to become Mitt’s running mate, and then he had to MC the show down in Norfolk where Mitt announced that Paul Ryan was getting the job the gov. wanted and now he’s facing opposition from fellow Republicans to his plan to put tollbooths on I-95. Communities where the tollbooths would be placed are up in arms, and now Congressman Randy Forbes and former governor George (GOP Senate Candidate) Allen are coming out against the proposal. Is this really about the tolls or is it about Allen being locked in a tight Senate Race with Former democratic Gov. Tim Kaine. In addition, Could Mr. Forbes be concerned that a Obama win of the swing state of Virginia make it tougher for his reelection bid?
