Neil Armstrong passed away this past weekend at the age of 82. His death brought back many memories for me of that historic moon landing in the summer of 1969. I recall the excitement that surrounded the event; the actual walk on the moon did not occur until later that night, after 11 p.m., I think. Anyway, it was an event that had the entire world looking toward the moon, including a 15-year-old aspiring editorial cartoonist on a hot summer night.
