Looks like former Alabama congressman and gubernatorial candidate Artur Davis is getting a speaking spot at the GOP convention in Tampa. Davis switched to the Republican Party and left the Democratic Party recently. In 2008, he was a supporter of president Obama. In 2010, Davis was defeated in the democratic primary for governor of Alabama. I followed that race closely,
Mr. Davis ignored the black voters of Alabama and some ignored him on Election Day. Now he’s on the lineup with the likes of Donald Trump, Chris Christie and tea party types.
